Book I in my long awaited vampire series called The First has finally released in print. It would appear that I have jumped on the bandwagon of this paranormal explosion, when in truth, I truly haven't. With the influx of all the new vamp movies and television shows, I cringed at the timing of this release, but it couldn't be helped. These novels, however, are babies that I began writing about four years ago. The first one released was Diary of Daniella Rolfe, but, unfortunately, I haven't been able to do anything with this particular novel. I won't go into any details, but suffice it to say the experience was enough to render me incapable of writing or wanting to finish this series for almost two years. My destroyed muse was eventually repaired by some wonderful coaxing from dear friends and members of The Novel Workshops of Writing.com. I managed to finish Kindred Blood and Crimson Cries (just barely), which are books III and IV to the series. I'm still writing Nightstalker, which is the final and fifth novel. I've tried to rise above the "experience" I've suffered, but it's left an indelible mark upon me. I'll be much happier come June 14th, 2010.
Eden's Hell begins my journey of how and why vampires came into existence, and these novels follow the unique bloodlines of the mother and father of the first vampires. I'd like to introduce some of my characters:
Addison Eden and Lillith Vacher (Adam and Lillith)
Eva Carr (a human woman who comes between Addison and Satrina and changes the entire history of the vampire race)
Daniella Rolfe (a seven centuries old vampire whose past will shock even her)
Aiden Blackmore (a hunky Kirkland City detective investigating a string of some rather bizarre serial murders.)
Damien Ranier (an old flame of Daniella's, who is insane, which makes him a very dangerous foe)
Spencer Dalton (an American living in England as a Private Investigator)
Paladin Sandalino (a 1600 year old vilkacis [werewolf] who offers his vast experience to help Daniella)
Zane Black (a hunky Texan and Vietnam vet vamp (that's a mouthful)  turned erotic romance writer incognito)
Darian Duncan (a pediatric cardiac surgeon who's dead and doesn't know it).

Thrown into the mix is a serial killer hellbent on trapping Daniella; The Talbot family, where specific members of their aristrocratic family are groomed to take over Daniella's affairs from century to century; The Nuasair Nine, an overzealous group of fanatics formed after the Crusades to destroy creatures of the night, and they've resurrected into modern day; and a host of other interesting vamps, witches and mortals alike.  The final novel to this series will bring all my vampires together.

If you're looking for a unique vampire series, with erotic overtures, battles of love lost and won, and a catalyst ending, I urge to pick up a copy and and begin The First journey.

. . .  Love is the key... Although the story has an erotic flavor, the leading element is love and sacrifice. I thought the eternal ex-wife was an inspirational element to a paranormal story. It takes the bad divorces between humans and elevates them to a whole new level. I enjoyed this story and found the vampire characters realistic and enjoyable.

Hi, Annie. I wish I could meet you, too. And famous...? I'm not holding my breath (or I'd pass out). I just hope people enjoy my storytelling skills.

Ah! Sounds awesome! I can't wait to read it. And I'm with Kurt. I better not get any of that, "Sorry, due to the amount of fan mail I get, I can't reply to each email personally," stuff! :) Congrats chica!

I never leave burning bridges, Tamara. Suffice it to say that it taught me a lot, so in a way it was a good experience. *LoL*
